Buncombe County Man Wanted on Multiple Felony Warrants

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on multiple felony warrants.

Deputies are looking for Brandon Thaddeus Bennett, who authorities say currently has active warrants for possession of stolen goods, felony “free text,” and felony conspiracy.

The sheriff’s office announced the search for Bennett as part of an effort to locate individuals with outstanding warrants. A report published August 11 also confirmed that Bennett is among two men the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office was seeking on active warrants for separate incidents.

Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the warrants or provided information indicating where Bennett may currently be located.

Anyone who may know Bennett’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at 828-250-6670.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information to contact law enforcement rather than attempting to approach or confront Bennett.

As with all outstanding warrants, being wanted or having an active warrant does not constitute a conviction, and the charges remain allegations unless proven in court.
