Anne Mathis-Grafe, age 60, of Shelby, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.

Anne was born Wednesday, January 26, 1966 in Darby, Pennsylvania to the late Jere Lintner and Shirley Gober. She worked for SONY manufacturing in her early years. She later worked as the Bakery Manager for Ingles for twenty-one years before retirement. Anne enjoyed watching horror movies and reading. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Her greatest joy and life’s passion was her family. She loved each one dearly and treasured the time spent with them.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Rex Miller.


Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Danielle Miller of Forest City, Richard Grafe, Jr. (Janie) of Shelby, James Mathis (Alice) of Spindale and Eric Grafe of Mooresboro; her stepmother, Pat Lintner of Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania; brothers, Steven Jetter, Michael Lintner, Ronnie Lintner; sisters, Carla Neil (Jack) and Venus Beach; grandchildren, Siera Miller (Kayleigh), Aryelle Miller (Zo), Jaxen Miller, Oliver Grafe and a great grandchild, Kamjii McNeal.

In honor of her wishes, no formal services will be conducted.
