Authorities Seek Missing Nebo Woman

The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman.

Melissa Ann Rich, 43, of Nebo, was last seen in McDowell County on Sunday, December 7. She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall with blonde hair.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact Captain Paul Alkire at the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 652-2235, ext. 1234, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After hours and on weekends, tips can be submitted by calling the non-emergency dispatch line at (828) 652-4000.

The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone who may have seen Rich or has information that could help locate her to come forward immediately.
