Brittany Greene

Brittany Greene, age 28, of Forest City, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026 at her home.

Brittany was born Sunday, October 5, 1997 in Buncombe County to Charles Greene, Sr. and Melissa Griffey Greene who reside in Bostic. Brittany was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 2015. She enjoyed working as a waitress for several years. She most recently worked at Denny’s Restaurant. Brittany enjoyed shopping, decorating her home and especially took pleasure in spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Hayley Greene; infant nephew, Kairo Greene; granny, Virginia Lee Griffey and her maw maw, Carrie Mae Wyatt.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Charles and Melissa Greene; sons, Kash Maloney and Ace Ross; her companion, Jeremiah Morrow; sister, Alexis Greene; brother, Charlie Greene; grandparents, Joe and Kim Griffey and Mike and Audrey Greene; her loving dog, Winnie and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of loving friends.

A celebration of Brittany’s life will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 6th at Harrelson Funeral Home with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
