Drug and Firearms Seized in Rutherford County Investigation

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office reported that a recent investigation in the Golden Valley community led to the arrest of one individual and the seizure of illegal drugs, firearms, and cash.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the A.C.E. (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement) Team began looking into suspected criminal activity at a residence on Highway 226 in Bostic following multiple community complaints. Investigators conducted a knock-and-talk at the property, where consent was given to search both a camper and the main residence.
During the search, deputies seized 10 firearms, including rifles and handguns from brands such as Glock, Draco, Delton, Panzer Arms, and Smith & Wesson. Authorities also confiscated 50.35 grams of marijuana, 354.35 grams of THC wax, 42 dosage units of Alprazolam (Xanax), four dosage units of Diazepam, and numerous THC vape products and paraphernalia. In addition, investigators recovered $9,203 in U.S. currency, firearm cases, and multiple magazines.
Landyn Millwood was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver THC wax, possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance (Xanax), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Millwood was given a $15,000 secured bond.
