Exclusive: Rutherfordton Man Charged with Multiple Sex Crimes

William Travis Marshall, 20, of Rutherfordton, is being held under $707,000 in secured bonds across four Rutherford Superior Court cases, after being arrested on Feb. 9, according to public detention center and court records reviewed by WCAB News.

Marshall faces multiple charges, with alleged offenses dating from 2018 to 2021.

• Case numbers 26CR000362-800, 26CR000363-800, and 26CR000364-800: Three counts of indecent liberties and three counts of sexual battery

• Case number 26CR000374-800: First-degree statutory sex offense, indecent liberties, and sexual battery
