Four Arrested in Shelby Drug Raid

CLEVELAND COUNTY — A drug investigation led to multiple arrests after the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant on November 26, 2025, at a residence on Claxton Drive in Shelby. The operation followed a drug complaint and outstanding warrants tied to individuals connected to the property.


During the search at 415 Claxton Drive, investigators located illegal narcotics and firearms in the home. Four individuals were taken into custody on various charges.

Kimberly Gardner

Charges:

• Three counts of Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Distribute Schedule II

• Sell/Deliver Schedule II

• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Seized from Gardner:

• 6 grams of methamphetamine

• 2 grams of fentanyl


Nicole Lynn Langley

DOB: 09/23/1984Address: 803 Fourth St., Kings Mountain

Charges:

• Possession of Methamphetamine

Seized from Langley:

• 5 grams of methamphetamine


Joseph Trevor Kale

DOB: 04/18/1979

Address: 159 Parwin Rd., Spartanburg, SC

Charges:

• Outstanding Order for Arrest – Driving While License Revoked (Polk County)


Jonathan LaVonne Nichols

DOB: 06/25/1971

Address: 822 Ivywood Dr., Shelby

Charges:

• Two counts of Resist, Delay, Obstruct

• Possession of Methamphetamine

• Possession of Schedule I

Seized from Nichols:

• 1 gram of fentanyl

• 1 gram of methamphetamine
