Homeless Woman Arrested

A Rutherford County woman is facing multiple charges after deputies say she assaulted two officers on Easter Sunday.

According to authorities, 42-year-old Trilana Vickers of Mooresboro was taken into custody following an incident that also led to charges of resisting public officers and impeding traffic.

Deputies responded to the situation and say Vickers became combative, resulting in the alleged assault on two deputies at the scene. Details about the deputies’ conditions have not been released.

Vickers was arrested and placed under a $10,000 secured bond.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
