Marion Man Charged for Rape

Detective Billie Brown with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 53-year-old Maximiliano Queriapa Guardian of Marion with felony Second Degree Forcible Rape. He was initially denied bond.

On March 18, Deputy Angel Hernandez spoke with a Marion woman about a sexual assault.

The victim stated she had been sexually assaulted by her boss while at work that day. After taking the report, Deputy Hernandez advised the victim to proceed to Mission McDowell for an evaluation.

An investigation by Detective Brown confirmed that Guardian had forcibly raped his employee. He was arrested and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center for processing.
