Marion Man Gets Felony Charge for Stealing

Detective Kyle Gibson with the McDowell County Sheriff’s charged 34-year-old Jericho Lee Baldi of Marion with felony Obtain Property Under False Pretense and Misdemeanor Larceny. He was issued a secured bond of $10,000.

On January 19, MCSO Deputy Seth Leopold responded to a residence for a disturbance.

Upon arrival, Deputy Leopold spoke with the caller who stated that Baldi took her Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max  and cashed it out at a Wal-Mart phone kiosk.

An investigation by detectives determined that Baldi was responsible for the theft and transaction. As a result, he was formally charged.
