Marion Woman Charged with Felony Meth Possession

Lieutenant David Jones with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Linda Ann Estep, 61, of Marion, with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. She was initially given no bond due to already being out on pretrial release.

 On Tuesday, January 6, Lt. Jones was patrolling the Glenwood area when he came across an individual walking on the road. The individual told Lt. Jones that he had been set out on the road by Estep who then drove away in his truck.

Estep was located at a nearby motel and found to be driving the truck without a license.

A subsequent search of her person turned up a suspected amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
