NEBO MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG POSSESSION

Lieutenant Jesse Hicks with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 47-year-old Michael Dale Honeycutt of Nebo with felony Possession of Methamphetamine and misdemeanor Second Degree Trespassing. He was issued a secured bond of $10,000.
On Wednesday, Deputy James Day responded to a Nebo residence in reference to a suspicious person.
Upon arrival, Deputy Day assisted Lt. Hicks who had apprehended Honeycutt, the suspect.
A subsequent search of his person turned a suspected amount of methamphetamine.
