Property Damage in Mooresboro Leads to Juvenile Suspects Identified

On October 1, 2025, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded to several reports of property damage in the Mooresboro area. Incidents included spray-painted buildings and vehicles, as well as punctured tires.
Deputies from the Road Patrol Division and Investigations Division, along with the Sheriff, canvassed the area around midday and identified two juveniles as suspects. Evidence was collected linking them to the reported crimes, and interviews were conducted.
The Department of Juvenile Justice has been notified, and the cases have been referred for further action. Authorities noted that the names of the suspects cannot be released due to their juvenile status.
