On August 19, deputies reported seeing Jenkins as a passenger in a vehicle on Boss Moore Road in the Caroleen community of Rutherford County. When deputies approached, Jenkins exited the vehicle and fled on foot. He has not been located.

Authorities say Jenkins is wanted on the following charges:

  • Four felony failures to appear in Rutherford and Cleveland counties

  • Six misdemeanor failures to appear in Rutherford County

  • One felony warrant for breaking and/or entering and felony larceny in Cleveland County

  • One misdemeanor warrant for resisting a public officer in Rutherford County

The Sheriff’s Office is encouraging the public to provide information about Jenkins’ whereabouts and noted that a reward may be offered for details leading to his arrest. Tips can be shared by calling the Sheriff’s Office at 828-286-2911 or CrimeStoppers at 828-286-8477. Callers may remain anonymous.

Investigators also said they believe others may be helping Jenkins avoid capture and cautioned that anyone assisting him could face criminal charges.
