The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office announced it will hold its first annual Honorary Major Jamie Keever STAR Camp Golf Scramble Tournament on November 1, 2025, at Meadow Brook Golf Club. The event aims to raise funds for STAR Camp, a three-day program held each summer to reinforce lessons taught to Rutherford County 5th graders through the STAR Program.
The tournament also honors Major Jamie Keever, who played a key role in securing the grant funding that launched STAR Camp in 2024 while battling cancer. Funds raised from the golf scramble will help purchase materials needed for the camp.
