Rutherfordton Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect in Shopping Cart Theft

The Rutherfordton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man accused of stealing a specialized shopping cart from Food Lion.

According to the department, photographs and a video of the individual are available on the department’s Facebook page. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt. Euten at 828-429-5105.

Police stated that they will continue to use social media to help identify suspects in cases involving local citizens and businesses.
