The Burke County Sheriff’s Office proudly recognizes Sergeant Sam Crump as he retires after more than 27 years of dedicated and faithful service.
Sgt. Crump has served this community with unwavering integrity, professionalism and commitment. Throughout his career, he has been a steady presence within the Sheriff’s Office — leading with experience, mentoring with patience and upholding the values of our agency with honor.
As a Warrant Sergeant, he carried out one of the most challenging and demanding roles in law enforcement. His work ensured safety, accountability and justice for the citizens of Burke County, and his legacy of diligence and reliability will remain with this agency for years to come.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Sgt. Crump for his service, his leadership and his steadfast dedication to the people of Burke County. While he leaves behind a distinguished career, he moves forward into a well‑earned retirement.
