On Sunday, September 7, 2025, deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol conducted a traffic stop that led to three arrests.

Deputies were searching for a subject wanted on outstanding charges when they passed a vehicle registered to a residence where the individual was known to stay. Believing the wanted subject might be inside, deputies initiated a stop after noticing multiple occupants in the vehicle.

During the stop, deputies recognized a backseat passenger who was wanted for a misdemeanor probation violation. He was taken into custody. Deputies also reported detecting the odor of marijuana, and two passengers admitted to possessing marijuana and other narcotics. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of baggies and containers of methamphetamine, along with digital scales and other paraphernalia.

Once at the Rutherford County Detention Center, a female intake officer found additional methamphetamine concealed on passenger Jayln Madison Faith Blanton.

The following individuals were charged:

  • Jayln Madison Faith Blanton, 18, of Mooresboro: Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance in jail; simple possession of Schedule VI; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $10,000 secured.

  • Pamela Denise Perry, 42, of Mooresboro: Possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,000 unsecured due to no prior criminal history.

  • Keagan Dean Henson, 33, of Mooresboro: Misdemeanor probation violation. Bond was set at $3,000 secured, previously ordered by a district court judge.
