Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Charges

Jamie Lee Pock, 50, of Marion, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor resisting a public officer, McDowell County Sheriff’s Office officials said. Pock was given a secured bond of $12,000.
On Tuesday, November 11, Lieutenant David Jones conducted a traffic stop in the North Cove area after Pock was observed driving without a license. During the stop, officers found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Pock.
The N.C. State Highway Patrol assisted in the incident.
