RUTHERFORD COUNTY — A routine traffic stop by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office ACE (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement) Team on November 26, 2025, resulted in the discovery of a substantial quantity of suspected fentanyl and several other narcotics.
The stop occurred on U.S. Highway 74 near U.S. 221 South. The vehicle, traveling eastbound, was operated by Christopher Markov of Charlotte, NC, with Chasidy Weaver, also of Charlotte, riding as a passenger.
