Early Morning Warrant Service Results in Three Arrests

During the morning hours of Wednesday, June 3, 2026, deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office Road Patrol responded to 154 South Glenn Street in Ellenboro to serve an outstanding warrant on Stanley Heath Ledford for Domestic Violence and Assault on a Female.


Upon arrival, deputies encountered multiple individuals at the residence, including Stanley Ledford. While speaking with the occupants, deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. The residents subsequently consented to a search of the residence.


During the search, deputies located a container containing a white powdery substance suspected to be fentanyl. Deputies also located marijuana, Alprazolam, and various items of drug paraphernalia, including digital scales. Based on the investigation, Stanley Ledford was charged accordingly.


As a result, the following individuals were arrested and charged:

Stanley Heath Ledford, 48, of Ellenboro:

Trafficking in Fentanyl

Maintaining a Dwelling for a Controlled Substance

Simple Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

In addition to the above charges, Ledford was served with warrants for:

Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence

Assault on a Female

Ledford was held without bond pending his appearance before a District Court Judge.


Phillip Ledford, 45, of Ellenboro:

Maintaining a Dwelling for a Controlled Substance

Simple Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance

Phillip Ledford was issued a $10,000 secured bond.


Steven Elliott Weast, 56, of Ellenboro:

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Weast was issued a $1,000 unsecured bond.
