Major Win for the Community

Sheriff Ellenburg and the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office are excited to announce a

major win for the community!

After years of nuisance-related activity at 136 Moore Road, our office teamed up with

NC ALE‘s Nuisance Abatement Team to find a permanent solution. Because this was an

heirship property, it required a unique and collaborative approach between both

agencies.

We worked directly with the heirs to clear the property and restore peace to the

neighborhood. A formal agreement has been filed with the Rutherford County Register

of Deeds, ensuring this property stays on the right track moving forward.

While this didn’t require a formal court complaint, the impact on the community is

massive.
