Marie Cole, age 76, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at her home.

Marie was born Saturday, March 26, 1949 in Rutherford County to the late Ocie Pauline Davis. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved taking care of her family.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Grady Herman Bridges.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Richard Anthony Bright, Lisa Leverette (Wade, Jr.) of Caroleen, Leslie Hudson (Steven) of Bostic, Stacie Cole (Alan) of Forest City and Kelly Cole of Sandy Mush. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A gathering to honor Marie’s life will be held on a date and time to be announced.
