Multi-Month Narcotics Investigation Results in Arrest of Alleged Drug Trafficking Organization Leader and Multiple Co-Conspirators


On June 16, 2026, investigators with the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division concluded a multi-month-long conspiracy drug investigation that resulted in the arrest of multiple individuals involved in the distribution of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine throughout Cleveland County.


The investigation culminated with the arrest of the alleged leader of the organization, Santana Legetro Elliott, of 500 Southern Pines Dr., Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Elliott was charged with:

• Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine (2 Counts)

• Conspiracy to Traffic Fentanyl

• Trafficking in Methamphetamine (2 Counts)

• Continuing a Criminal Enterprise


Additional arrests connected to the investigation include:

Amber Denise Parson of 449 Studebaker Rd., Chesnee, SC

• Conspiracy to Traffic Fentanyl

• Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine

• Trafficking in Methamphetamine (3 Counts)


Kalana Mikaela-Marie Maple of 234 Davis Rd. Shelby, NC 28152

• Trafficking in Methamphetamine

• Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine

• Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances

• Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine


Geoffrey Eric Nance of 1010 Sue Ln, Shelby, NC

• Trafficking in Methamphetamine (2 Counts)

• Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance

• Felony Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance


Margaret "Maggie" Greene of 4701 Quail Run Dr. Mint Hill, NC

• Trafficking in Fentanyl (2 Counts)

• Trafficking in Methamphetamine (2 Counts)

Throughout the course of the investigation, investigators seized:

• 742.4 grams of Methamphetamine

• 35.3 grams of Fentanyl

• 22.8 grams of Cocaine

• 22 dosage units of Xanax

• $6,270.71 in U.S. Currency

• One Vehicle


Sheriff Alan Norman stated, "This investigation represents months of dedicated work by our Narcotics Division and our law enforcement partners. The arrest of individuals responsible for distributing large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl demonstrates our commitment to protecting the citizens of Cleveland County. Fentanyl continues to be one of the greatest threats facing our communities, and we will continue to aggressively target those who profit from the sale of dangerous narcotics."


The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges and arrests are possible.
