Robin Vaughn Howard

Robin Vaughn Howard, age 56, of Ellenboro, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026 at her home.

Robin was born Monday, March 9, 1970 in Lexington, NC to Nancy Vaughn who resides in High Point, NC. Robin was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family dearly. Among her many gifts was her talent as an artist and photographer. She especially enjoyed painting, drawing and sketching. As a lover of nature she took enormous pleasure in feeding and caring for all kinds of animals. She was also known for her “green thumb” and her ability to grow beautiful plants and flowers. Robin will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In addition to her mother, those left to honor her legacy include her husband of thirty-six years, Jason Howard; sons, Aubrey Vaughn of Lawndale, Josh Howard of Kings Mountain, and Dustin Vaughn (Jessica) of Kings Mountain; daughters, Melissa Howard (Joe Padgett) of Rutherfordton and Jennifer Accor (Travis) of Shelby and eleven precious grandchildren.

A gathering to celebrate her life will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9th at Harrelson Funeral Home.
