Santa to Ride Through Rutherfordton on Tuesday Evening

Santa Claus will make a special appearance in Rutherfordton on Tuesday, Dec. 23, as part of the town’s annual Santa Drive-Through, scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m.

Santa will ride through town in a fire truck, seated up front as he checks rooftops and fine-tunes preparations ahead of Christmas Eve. The drive-through is designed to allow families to see Santa safely while enjoying a longtime holiday tradition.

The Rutherfordton Fire Department will escort Santa along the route, while the Rutherfordton Police Department will assist with traffic control and public safety.

Residents are encouraged to listen for sirens, watch for flashing lights, and wave as Santa passes by. Crestview Park is recommended as a good viewing spot, with Santa expected to arrive there around 4:15 p.m.

Town officials encourage attendees to dress warmly and enjoy the festive atmosphere as Rutherfordton celebrates the holiday season.
