Search Underway for Two Missing Children in Spartanburg County

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for two missing children who were reported as runaways early this morning.

Authorities say 10-year-old Dalton Hasley and 11-year-old Jesse Schaeding were last seen in the Spartanburg area. Both boys may be carrying backpacks.

Hasley is described as having blond hair and was last seen wearing tan pants, a light-green shirt, an orange and navy coat, and black Crocs. Schaeding has dark hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt featuring bears, and a black coat.

Temperatures dropped significantly overnight, raising additional concern for the children’s safety.
