Buncombe County Man Wanted on Assault, Trespassing Warrants

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on active warrants.

Deputies are looking for Michael Daniel Dockery, who currently has warrants for assault on a female and second-degree trespass, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office has not released additional details about the circumstances that led to the warrants or provided information about where Dockery may be located.

Anyone who may have information about Dockery’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at 828-250-6670.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact law enforcement rather than attempting to approach or confront Dockery.

Having an outstanding warrant does not constitute a conviction. The charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
