Marion Police Department Gears Up for National Night Out 2026

The Marion Police Department is putting the finishing touches on preparations for its biggest community event of the year—National Night Out 2026.

Celebrated annually on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that brings neighbors and law enforcement together to strengthen community relationships, promote public safety, and foster partnerships that make our neighborhoods safer and stronger.

This year's event will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. along Main Street in Marion. To allow vendors time to set up, Main Street will be closed beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The evening promises to be filled with fun, fellowship, and opportunities to connect with the officers and first responders who proudly serve the Marion community. Whether you're coming to meet your local officers, visit community vendors, or simply enjoy time with family and friends, National Night Out offers something for everyone.
