Mary Harper Silvers

Mary Harper Silvers, age 89, a longtime resident of Forest City, passed away from an extended illness on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the Fair Haven Home of Forest City.

Mary was born Friday, December 25, 1936 in Bloomington, Indiana to the late Denver Ray Harper and Ethel Marie Groves Harper. Mary was a homemaker and worked in textiles for many years. She was a member of the Little White Country Church in Gilkey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Daniel Silvers and her son, Steve Silvers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jeff Silvers and wife, Kay; seven granddaughters and thirteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held and will be announced on a later date.
