Rutherford County Authorities Seek Help Locating Missing Man

Rutherford County, NC — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Randy Sean Waters, 39, who was reported missing by his family on December 30, 2025.

Family members say Waters was last seen on October 21, 2025, and last contacted them on November 10, 2025. Waters is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” tall and weighing around 150 pounds.

In addition to being reported missing, Waters has an outstanding warrant for felony probation violation. A photograph provided by the family is currently the best image available.
