Two Arrested

On April 8, 2026, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Katia Celaina Christian, and the passenger as Alyson Moss Wilson. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located various items of drug paraphernalia, Alprazolam, and fentanyl.

Christian was taken into custody and transported to the Burke County Magistrate’s Office, where she was charged with Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She received a $5,000 secured bond. Her initial court appearance was held on April 9, 2026, and her next court date is scheduled for April 27, 2026.

Wilson was also taken into custody and transported to the Burke County Magistrate’s Office, where she was charged with Felony Possession of Fentanyl, Misdemeanor Simple Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She received a $40,000 secured bond. Her initial court appearance was held on April 9, 2026, and her next court date is scheduled for April 30, 2026.
